2023 National Gold Award Scholarship!

Girl Scouting has always been an essential part of my identity. It was the program where I discovered my love of learning, made lifelong friends, and cultivated my passions. This past year, I had the privilege of completing my Girl Scout Gold Award, called Girls Who Soar. I hosted a series of workshops introducing the wonderful world of aviation to young women in my community, and I am still working on sharing it with girls around the country through my advocacy efforts.

I was recently awarded the 2023 National Gold Award Scholarship of $10,000 from the Girl Scouts of the USA. I am incredibly humbled and grateful for this opportunity and am forever thankful for the courage and confidence being a Girl Scout has given me. I wouldn’t be the young woman I am today without it.
