Coming Up!

Workshop #2 is next month! We have 19 girls signed up already. So exciting! We will be hosting it at the Experimental Aircraft Association Building in Fort Myers, Florida. This facility has a simulator, plenty of tables and chairs, and is right next to the taxiway of Page Field Airport. I’ve been volunteering with the EAA for ages, so I’m excited to make use of the space for another exciting project. Pictures of the facility are below!

At the last Paradise Coast Ninety Nines meeting, the Girls Who Soar Flight Day was officially made into a “Let’s Fly Now” event. “Let’s Fly Now” is a program originated and coordinated by the Ninety Nines to encourage women of all ages to pursue aviation. The Ninety Nines help is going to skyrocket the amount of support and volunteers we get for the Flight Day. I’m so excited to see these girls experience being and flying a small plane for the first time.
